I'm blue la da di da do da

So this is how I'm feeling today: blue, uninspired, fed up and unfulfilled. What am I doing with my life? Is this as good as it gets? There has to be more to it surely. Or does everyone feel like this in the 21st century rat race? Would I be happier if I went off to live in a little cottage in the country where I could write my book, live in dungarees and eat home fattened rashers procured from piglets I reared with love. Why, I could make dandelion wine and nettle tea and loganberry jam and all manner of foul tasting but worthy delicacies.

Or is it just Monday morning? But surely one shouldn't absolutely dread coming into work every day. Surely that's not right?

Deep sigh, lament, wail

  1. So basically what I'm saying is things are as bad as they seem. Sometimes. Well today anyway. But I'm sure I'll be over it by lunch. Red Bull maybe?

  2. Well, lunch is over. I bought a new goldfish for the office and had some noodles and I feel a bit better.

  3. Your life in the country cottage sounds amazing. Where is it?

  4. Location to be decided. I think I'm going to have a donkey as well. We used to have a donkey called Oscar and I fell off him one day, got my foot caught in the stirrups and he dragged me all the way down the driveway til we got to the cattle grid. Then he got bored of my shrieks and let me untangle myself. Still love donkeys though!
